About EdFund's Workshops

EdFund offers two cohort-based programs designed to strengthen the link between education finance research, policy, advocacy, and public understanding. Participants in both programs gain access to this Workshop Hub — a central space to find resources, materials, and opportunities to connect with peers.

The State School Finance Workshop Series supports up to 14 graduate students and post-doctoral researchers through an eight-workshop sequence featuring experts in research, legislation, journalism, and advocacy. Participants build skills to translate school finance research for policymakers and receive a $1,000 stipend upon completion.

Meeting the Moment is a new eight-part learning and collaboration series for 12 emerging researchers, advocates, and journalists. Fellows work across sectors to turn complex school funding issues into accessible public storytelling, culminating in collaborative projects shared with EdFund’s national network.

Our Goals
